Job Title
Reception & Office Administration Support
Purpose of Role
To work on a busy Reception desk to be the first point of contact for all learners and clients of Farm Ed. You will also provide admin support for a busy office.
Roles & Responsibilities
Front of House & Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all incoming calls.
- Answer all incoming calls, providing assistance or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
- Provide relevant information to potential learners from a sales perspective, ensuring they have an understanding of available courses and services.
Communication & Coordination:
- Answer and manage all incoming emails to the main office inbox, ensuring timely responses and accurate information is provided.
- Direct calls and emails to the relevant staff members, ensuring effective communication within the team.
Post and Mailing Duties:
- Collect, sort, and ensure all outgoing post is delivered to the post office promptly.
- Manage and arrange for any post to be sent out of the office, ensuring all mail is dispatched efficiently.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed, assisting with filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Assist with reviewing programme course work as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are reviewed in a timely manner.
- Prepare course materials for upcoming sessions, ensuring that all materials are organised and ready for delivery.
- Note taker for meetings
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with any other administrative tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Skills & Competencies
- Professional Knowledge & Experience
- Knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel and Word
- Working in busy office environment with competing demands
Organisational Skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanour.
Qualifications & Experience
- A qualification in Office Administration is desirable
- 2 years experience working in a busy office environment
- Experience with MS Teams
- Experience in MS Office
- Experience in Customer Relations
Location
Erasmus Smith House Cahir Co Tipperary Hours of Work
25-39 hours per week Annual leave
20 days per annum (pro rata for part time employees)
